So last night I sat down with my loving wife to watch a movie. We rented Surrogates staring Bruce Willis. First let me say that I really enjoyed the movie, it had a very decent pace with some very interesting twists and even a couple of moral questions.Worth checking out if you have time!

Look, it was the wife's turn to pick and she always picks chick flicks... that said, it was an interesting look into the personalities behind seminars like the Tony Robbins stuff. Plus, Aaron Eckhart is awesome. One interesting feature of the DVD is the deleted scenes because they all involve a character who is all but cut from the film, and practically every single scene deserves to be in the movie because they add extra depth to both the leads that would have made a movie that is just alright into one that was pretty good.

ReplyDeleteI can't say that I was a fan of the movie. Bruce Willis didn't really seem to bother himself and the whole setting and backstory was poorly thoughtout. I just didn't feel like I was watching a story in a plausible setting. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.
